Nordic Skiing & Snowshoeing
The City of Bangor is proud to offer over 7 miles or expertly groomed trails perfect for Nordic Skiing! The trails are free to use regardless of residency. Trails are NOT groomed unless there is a significant base of snow in order to protect the turfgrass below. Typically, we must have 8-10 inches of base (depending on the quality of snow) to run our groomer. Skiers are always welcome to break their own trails, but please be cognizant that there is very sensitive grass underneath.
